THE YEAR IN REVIEW (2011)

January:  Peter and Steff welcomed in the new year at the home of their friends
              Jim and Liz Pace.

             



              Steffi flew to Spokane for a visit at the Silverbit Ranch with sister Vicki,
              brother-in-law Jovan, niece Seka and husband Simon who moved back
              to the U.S. from New Zealand.



 



Steff models the latest in feline hat couture.



February:  Peter goes with a couple of friends to Palm Springs for a 55 mile bike

                adventure.  Thousands of bikers were there and temperatures in the 80's.

March:      A quick visit with Steff's dad and Noreen in Coronado (near San Diego).

                  

                  Homes are found for three dogs when the neighbors fear they'll lose their

                  house to foreclosure.

                   Peter ends up in the hospital after crashing his bike and falling face first

                   into a boulder.  The accident required plastic surgery to sew up his

                   lips and reattach the left side of his nose.  He spent three days in the

                   hospital.  Yes, he WAS wearing a helmet which was cracked and had to

                   be replaced.
